About Adam

Hello! I'm Adam Smith, proud resident of Port Washington, which my wife, Jenny, and I have called home for more than 10 years. We are also the proud parents of three current Guggenheim Elementary students, with our oldest gearing up to start Weber Middle School this fall.

Over the past two decades, I've built a career in Commercial Real Estate, becoming skilled in budget management, construction oversight, strategic planning and partnerships, and negotiation.

I believe in the power of community, and I am committed to making a positive impact wherever I can. Back in 2020, I spearheaded efforts to keep Port schools open for five days a week. This led to my decision to run for the Board of Education, where I've had the honor of serving for three years, including as President for the past two years. As a Trustee, I firmly believe in balancing the needs of all stakeholders, including students of all backgrounds and abilities, staff, and our taxpayers.

Additionally, I've lent my expertise to Temple Beth Israel and Chabad of Port Washington, chairing their security committees to ensure the safety and well-being of community members. I can also be seen most days at Lion’s field coaching PYA and Legends Baseball.
